Young Farmers
A farm program for kids in Langley, BC that builds real skills, confidence, and a love of the outdoors through hands-on work with animals and crops.
Many kids today think food comes from a cupboard or a delivery app. The Young Farmers Program changes that. Through hands-on farm experience, kids reconnect with where food comes from, develop real-world skills, and build confidence that only comes from doing something hard and doing it well.
Curiosity, Confidence & Purpose
Working alongside real farmers, kids get to plant, harvest, and care for crops and animals. Research consistently shows that kids who learn outdoors develop stronger social skills, better emotional regulation, and a deeper connection to the natural world.
They learn where their food comes from, how to work as a team, and what it feels like to see something grow because of their effort. These are lessons that go far beyond the farm.
Small Groups, Big Impact
Every child is part of a small group of just ten kids per instructor, so there is always someone there to guide, encourage, and cheer them on. No one gets lost in the crowd and no one gets left behind.sustainability to build responsibility, resilience, and genuine confidence with every task.

Before & After School Program: Coming Soon
We are expanding the Young Farmers Program to include before and after school options for Langley elementary students.
Kids will get regular time on the farm, building skills and confidence as part of their everyday routine. We are working hard to make it happen and want to make sure the right families hear about it first.
Fuel the Next Generation
Every presentation we deliver, every bag of produce a kid takes home, and every field trip to the farm happens because someone in this community decided to show up. Our program is 100% community-funded, and without the generosity of local businesses and individuals, none of it would be possible. If you believe that kids deserve to know where their food comes from, there's a place for you here.
