Agri-Kids In School

We bring hands-on learning about agriculture directly into schools in Langley, BC to inspire curiosity, connection, and confidence in children from kindergarten to grade seven.

Bringing the Farm to the Classroom

Every visit is a chance for kids to see, touch, taste, and learn about the food they eat, all while developing lifelong respect for farming, nutrition, and sustainability.

Why Schools Love Agri-Kids

Hands-On Learning

Each presentation includes interactive lessons about farming, hydroponics, fruits, vegetables, and nutrition. Students get to participate in hands-on activities that spark curiosity and creativity. At the end of the presentation, each student goes home with a retail-size bag of produce for their family.

Farm to Table Knowledge

Agri-Kids is more than just a day of fun, it’s a spark that can change a child’s relationship with food, health, and the planet. By the end of each year, hundreds of children have learned not only how food grows, but why it matters. They understand that farming isn’t just part of our past, but that it’s also essential to our future.

Fresh Food, Real Impact

Every time we step into a classroom, we see students light up with curiosity. We’ve seen children try new vegetables for the first time, go home and teach their parents what they learned, and even start helping in their own gardens. For many families, that bag of fresh produce means more than a lesson — it means fresh, local food on the table.

Making A Difference In Langley Schools

  1. Over 5,000 students will have gone through the Agri-Kids program by the end of 2025.

  2. 70+ volunteers and educators supporting Agri-Kids.

  3. 100,000 lbs of fresh produce donated to schools and families

  4. Annual school celebration events with treats, prizes, and farm field trips.

  5. Ongoing support for Parent Advisory Councils (PACs), with yearly donations and fundraisers.

Every presentation we deliver, every bag of produce a kid takes home, and every field trip to the farm happens because someone in this community decided to show up. Our program is 100% community-funded, and without the generosity of local businesses and individuals, none of it would be possible. If you believe that kids deserve to know where their food comes from, there's a place for you here.
